(SportsNetwork.com) - The Utah Jazz shoot for their 10th win of the season when they return to Salt Lake City to host the Philadelphia 76ers. The rested Jazz went 3-3 on their recent trip east and handed the tough Memphis Grizzlies a 97-91 setback on Monday. Alec Burks scored 13 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter and Gordon Hayward added 21 points. Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter scored 15 and 13 points, respectively, for the Jazz, who made 45.3 percent from the floor. This is huge for us, Jazz forward Rodney Hood said. For us to come out like this and beat a great Memphis team means a lot. Its been a long road trip, and this can be a confidence booster for us. Utah had lost five straight at Memphis since a 98-88 decision on Feb. 12, 2012. It outrebounded Memphis 49-34, including a 10-5 advantage on the offensive glass, and Rudy Gobert came off the bench with 16 rebounds. Hayward has scored 14 or more points in nine straight games with four 20-point efforts in that span. The Jazz are 4-9 at home. Philadelphia had a modest season-high two-game winning streak stopped with Fridays 114-93 setback against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tony Wroten scored 22 points, Michael Carter-Williams added 17 and K.J. McDaniels finished with 12 for the Sixers, who made 44.4 percent of their shots and turned the ball over 18 times. The 76ers, who are last in scoring with 91.5 ppg, lead the NBA with 18.0 turnovers and watched the Trail Blazers bury 18-of-43 3-pointers last night. Philly made just 18-of-33 free throws. When you give up what we did from (3-point range) coupled with what we shot from the line... that team can score. That team can score, said Sixers coach Brett Brown. Robert Covington and Nerlens Noel scored eight points apiece in defeat. Philadelphia is 2-1 on a seven-game road trip and 4-10 outside the City of Brotherly Love. All four wins have come on the road. The Sixers will also visit Golden State, Phoenix and Los Angeles (Clippers), and will host Utah on March 6. The Jazz took both meetings with the 76ers last season and are riding a three-game winning streak in this series. Utah has won nine in a row at home versus the Sixers. Hayward posted an average of 19.5 points per game against Philly last season. Jakub Vrana Jersey . Coverage on TSN is underway now while action resumes on TSN2 at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. Neither striker Demba Ba nor Fernando Torres came close to scoring as Chelsea was left unsuccessfully appealing for penalties in this drab penultimate game of the season. "Our strikers are good strikers, no doubt about that, but players with some specific qualities," Mourinho said. http://www.officialcapitalsfanstore.com/...apitals-jersey/. - In about six minutes, the Memphis Grizzlies had allowed their 23-point lead to be cut to seven. Jaromir Jagr Jersey . Hargreaves began his career in 2008 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and has played with the Edmonton Eskimos and last season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Dale Hunter Jersey . The Raptors general manager has his list of possible draft selections whittled down to a handful ahead of Thursday nights NBA draft in Brooklyn, New York. The Raptors, who have auditioned dozens of players over the past couple of weeks, have the 20th overall pick in the first round, as well as the 37th and 58th picks in the second. The big story this week was Jameis Winston moving into the contenders fray at the expense of Tajh Boyd, while Marcus Mariota may have done enough to take the Heisman Watch lead. Winston had perhaps the statement game of the season in Florida States crucial ACC win over Boyd and the rival Clemson Tigers. The redshirt freshman was outstanding in throwing for 44 yards and scoring a combined four touchdowns against the previously third-ranked Tigers. The win vaulted the Seminoles to a surprising second in the first installment of the BCS rankings this season; if Winston continues his strong play Florida State could be playing for their first National Title since 1999. On the other side of the field, Clemsons National Title hopes were all but dashed, along with Boyds Heisman hopes. Boyd played so poorly in the spotlight against FSU, completing less than half his passes for just 156 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, that he likely wont see his name in this column any more moving forward (not that hes looking). Meanwhile out west, Mariota continued his Heisman Trophy caliber season as the Oregon Ducks hammered Washington State. The redshirt sophomore improved his season numbers with nearly 400 combined yards and three combined scores against the Cougars. Mariota has been destroying lesser competition all year but wont be able to lock up the award until he proves he can do it against solid competition. The Ducks weak schedule hasnt been lost on the BCS either, as Oregon was a surprisse No.dddddddddddd 3 in the first rankings behind Alabama and Florida State. The next two weeks are vital to both Mariotas and Oregons chances however, as they host the 12th-ranked UCLA Bruins before traveling to the fifth-ranked Stanford Cardinal. Two more impressive showings and the Heisman Trophy may be won after just 10 weeks of the season. Week 7 was chock full of upsets and while none hurt a players Heisman chances more than Boyds, Louisville and Texas A&M suffered losses damaging Teddy Bridgewaters and Johnny Manziels chances at the most coveted trophy in collegiate sports. Bridgewater had a decent game last weekend, throwing for 341 yards and two touchdowns, and while it was the defence that let the Cardinals down more than anything, Bridgewater needed to be almost perfect all season to have a shot at the Heisman because of Louisvilles weak schedule. Bridgewater cant say hes perfect anymore. Manziel meanwhile is still very much in the race for his second straight Heisman but certainly saw a few players surpass him in the race as the Aggies fell to Auburn in a big SEC clash. Manziel combined for more than 500 yards and five scores before getting injured (hes expected back for Week 8) but the loss hurt his chances nonetheless (not as much as it hurt A&Ms National Title chances however.) Other fringe candidates to keep an eye on moving forward include tailbacks Lache Seastrunk from Baylor and Bishop Sankey from Washington, and QB Derek Carr from Fresno State. ' ' '
