CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Panthers left tackle Michael Oher has been ruled out for Sundays game against the Atlanta Falcons after developing concussion-related symptoms two days before the game.Oher practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday and the team is uncertain when the injury occurred. He didnt feel well on Friday morning and was diagnosed with a concussion.Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Friday its unclear wholl take over for Oher at left tackle. When I came in, (head athletic trainer) Ryan Vermillion came to me and told me that Mike had come in and was complaining of symptoms, Rivera said. So he sat him down and did whatever the first steps of the protocol are and contacted the doctors. He came back and told me hes in the protocol.Rivera said there is no way a player can pass the protocol in that amount of time and the team had to rule him out.The most likely option for Sunday is moving right tackle Mike Remmers to the left side and starting second-year player Daryl Williams at right tackle. Another is starting Donald Hawkins at left tackle. Hawkins is listed as Ohers primary backup on the depth chart. Were going to talk about it. We practiced today, and we had a couple of guys taking reps on that left side, Rivera said of the decision at left tackle. The thing to decide is whether bringing one guy in is better than moving one guy and having to put another guy in? Well see.Coming at the end of the week is the big deal because youve game-planned already. But the nice thing is that our young guys get a lot of reps. Its not like these guys havent been working on things.Oher, known for the movie about him called The Blind Side, has started every game at left tackle for Carolina since signing as a free agent in 2015. He played so well last year during the teams Super Bowl season that the team gave him a contract extension through 2019.Regardless of who starts at left tackle, Rivera said reserve guard Tyler Larsen would be active for the first time.Running back Jonathan Stewart (hamstring) and defensive tackle Vernon Butler (ankle) also are out. Defensive end Charles Johnson (quad) is questionable but is expected to play.---AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFLJesse Lingard Jersey .C. -- Rodney Hood connected from all over the court while freshman Jabari Parker was busy swatting shots and scoring in transition. Brazilian national coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has confirmed that the veteran goalkeeper is set to join Toronto on loan, saying it will help him be ready for the World Cup. Harry Kane Jersey . On Saturday night, the normally free throw-challenged centre did just that. Howard scored 18 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including 13 of 19 free throws in a 2 1/2-minute stretch, and the Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 122-111. John Stones Jersey . Defencemen Drew Doughty, Shea Weber and forward Ryan Getzlaf also scored for the Canadians, who started their gold-medal defence 2-0. Goalie Roberto Luongo, getting the call in place of Game 1 starter Carey Price, was solid when needed in making 23 saves for the shutout. MANCHESTER, England -- Raheem Sterling capped a rousing second-half comeback by Manchester City with the winning goal as Arsenal squandered a lead to lose 2-1 for the second time in five days in the English Premier League on Sunday. The England winger collected Kevin De Bruynes sensational cross-field pass before cutting inside and driving home a low finish in the 71st minute at Etihad Stadium.Arsenal led through Theo Walcotts fifth-minute strike -- another goal that raised questions about Citys defensive frailties -- before Leroy Sane equalized in the 47th with his first goal for City. While City moved back to within seven points of first-place Chelsea, Arsenal dropped nine points off the leaders at the end of a week in which Arsene Wengers team also lost after being 1-0 up at Everton on Tuesday. We were caught cold in the second half and we dropped physically, Wenger said.City has reacted to a 4-2 loss at Leicester last weekend, which led to fierce criticism of coach Pep Guardiolas tactics, with two wins this week to revive the teams title challenge.Guardiolas side dominated the second half after playing it without a recognized striker, with Raheem Sterling -- a winger who was up front in the first half -- was sent out to the right flank. With Fernandinho back from a three-match suspension next week against Hull, Sergio Aguero only banned for one more game and Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus joining in January, things are looking up for City again. The victories give a lot of confidence in the mind of the players in what we are trying to do, Guardiola said. I am so happy for the fans. They stay until the 94th minutee, normally they go with 10 minutes left.ddddddddddddWhat will concern Guardiola, though, was the manner in which his defense was opened by Arsenal for Walcotts goal.Hector Bellerin was allowed to power up the field unchallenged from right back and pass the ball to Sanchez, who had dropped deep to also find space between City defense and midfield. Sanchezs reverse pass located Walcott between two defenders and the winger composed himself before slipping a low shot past goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.Guardiola decided not to play John Stones for the second straight game, preferring Nicolas Otamendi and Aleksandar Kolarov at center back, and City was often too open in defense while its build-up play was slow from the central midfield in the first half.It was a different story after halftime, with Arsenal unable to pick up Citys floating midfielders. One of them, Silva, clipped a first-time pass over the top for Sane -- who may have been slightly offside -- to race clear and sidefoot home for a first goal in his 13th appearance for City.Sane was denied in a one-on-one opportunity by Petr Cech, who tipped aside De Bruynes deflected shot. De Bruyne was growing in influence and it was his stunning pass that set up the winner.Guardiola praised the quality and the vision from Kevin to make an exceptional pass.Seven points is still a huge distance from a team who made 11 wins in a row, Guardiola said, referring to Chelsea. (We need to) be there as much as possible and wait for the opponent to fail. ' ' '
