The moves were retroactive to Monday. Escalona is 1-2 with a 4.18 ERA in 21 appearances this season. The righty has been bothered by the elbow injury for the past week. In Sundays game against San Diego, he allowed three runs and two homers and retired just one batter before leaving. An MRI on Monday showed inflammation but no other issues with his elbow. This is Outmans second stint with the Rockies after beginning the year at Triple-A. Outman was first recalled on April 19 and appeared in 19 games for the Rockies, going 2-0 with a 4.94 ERA.
