J.P. Arencibias career trajectory continues to fall. On Tuesday, the Texas Rangers sent down the 28-year-old catcher to Triple-A after a rough start to the season. Arencibia was the Rangers Opening Day catcher this season, but is hitting just .133 with one home run and six runs batted in over 20 games. This is Arencibias first year in Texas after a four-year stint with the Toronto Blue Jays that ended on uneasy terms. Arencibia had a .194 batting average last season and was granted free agency.
